Sterling Silver Sandcast Cross - Opal
Sand casting is the oldest form of Navajo silversmithing, It starts with a design made out of tufa or other stone, liquid Silver is then poured into the mold. It is then shaped and polished some times the artists leave the rough mold patterns in the final product for added beauty and texture. This cross has a lab created opal at the center.
