Sterling Silver Whirlwind Sand Cast Pendant - Lapis
Sand casting is the oldest form of Navajo silversmithing, It starts with a design made out of tufa or other stone, liquid Silver is then poured into the mold. It is then shaped and polished some times the artists leave the rough mold patterns in the final product for added beauty and texture. In the Center of the Pendent is a Lapis stone. A whirlwind meaning is bringing in the good and taking out the bad.
